Dai Dudu, Li Tiezi,
Zhang An, Discussing the Divine Comedy
with Dante, 2006. Who can you spot? Some of the most famous names in Man's
history gather together for the ultimate dinner party.
This extraordinary
painting by little-known-Taiwanese artists Dai Dudu, Li Tiezi and Zhang An (who
appear in the top right of the picture), which also features some Chinese
communist leaders and poets little known outside Asia, has become the latest
internet hit - with people fascinated by the challenge of trying to identify
all 103 figures. Completed in 2006, it is titled Discussing The Divine Comedy With Dante and seems to be a metaphor
for our celebrity-obsessed world. So how many can you recognise? - Answers
